We love partnering with others to bring hope to Belize.

Welcome to BCI Belize Christian Impact

Belize is a country rich with variety in culture, in nature and in history.

Harvey Plett, director if BCI was born in Spanish Lookout, Belize, in a Mennonite farming community. Here he found freedom and raised his family with open eyes to those in need. Presently The whole Plett family serves at BCI. Harvey is Pastor of non-denominational church Fountain of Life Church that you will be visiting and/or ministering at during your mission week.

May your week with us be a week of drawing closer to God, a week of freedom and peace. While you serve may you be refreshed in Him.

Mission/Vision Statement

Our mission is to impact Belizean cultures for Jesus and strengthen missionaries

Impact Belizean Cultures
we are based in a English/German farming community surrounded by Spanish/English refugee villages on all sides. We spend our time and effort bettering physical conditions for refugee families by painting homes and helping out with projects around the home. Each project or activity is spiritually impacting as well as we pray for and encourage people we come in contact with. In the evenings we go minister at different churches. Village chairman are asked about the biggest needs in the village and we gift groceries and love to them. Some days we spend visiting orphanages, old folks homes and the central prison – here we can present songs, dramas, crafts and games and short messages. We like to gather the village for a Fun Day/VBS at the end of the week once we’ve developed somewhat of a relationship with them. Altogether there are many ways of impacting Belize and we enjoy discovering Gods design for that together with missionaries.

Strengthen Missionaries
Missionaries weeks with us are a time of growth for their own relationship with God. The grow in confidence as they see they have the ability to better others’ lives, their testimonies are encouraging, and their love makes a difference. We provide some times of adventure and exploring Belize to refresh and lighten the stretch of the week. We provide times of training and debriefing to help missionaries grow spiritually, also times of sharing and bonding with teammates to develop friendships that will continue after the mission trip is over.
