Samaritans Feet believes that a new pair of shoes can provide a tangible foundation of hope and the opportunity for a better life, prompt children to focus in school and families not to worry, and protect feet to decrease the possibility of getting a foot-borne disease.

Mission/Vision Statement

Samaritans Feet serves and inspires hope in children by providing shoes as the foundation to a spiritual and healthy life resulting in the advancement of education and economic opportunities.

OUR STORY
Over 30 years ago, a young Nigerian boy, Manny Ohonme, received his first pair of shoes at the age of nine. It changed his life and now he wants give others that same opportunity for change and impact.

Samaritans Feet wants to inspire hope through the gift of shoes, the act of washing feet, and encouragement to those who need it most. People without shoes face dangers like laceration, fungus, and insect bites that can lead to infection, disease, and even death.

Children with no shoes are often not allowed entrance to education in many countries and can find their way into slavery, or unsafe and inexcusable child labor environments. Since our founding in 2003, Samaritans Feet and its partners have distributed over 10.5 million pairs of shoes in 111 countries and 625 U.S. cities.

Doctrinal Statement

Samaritan’s Feet is humanitarian organization that is faith-based- having been founded by two strong believers in 2003. We serve with believers from all churches as we offer a new pair of shoes and a message of hope through Jesus. We uniquely distribute our shoes by washing the feet of those we serve, showing servant leadership and following the example of Christ.
