What the Mission Trip Will Be Like
Join a team of summer interns and collaborate together as you support long term workers in Vienna. Experience firsthand the spiritual and ministry needs in Austria as you provide practical assistance to newcomers at a Christian refugee help center, help with critical organizational tasks at a ministry reaching women in prostitution, and support church planting efforts. Engage in relational evangelism with students while studying basic German.The month of July, join a team in western Austria as a camp counselor for two weeks of English camp ministry with middle schoolers and high schoolers.

*Must be a US Citizen or US Permanent Resident.

Cost: $6600
Minimum Age: 18. A growing relationship with Jesus Christ. A servants heart and a desire to learn how to effectively share the Gospel in a multi-cultural ministry context. Willingness to live communally and serve sacrificially. Flexibility and adaptability.

Relation of Opportunity to National Church and/or Long-term Goals
WorldVenture in Austria envisions growth by adding ministries such as facilitation and training of short-term teams for ministry for all parts of Europe, as well as concerted efforts to reach out to Austrian youth. Another goal is increased outreach to refugees in Austria. This opportunity is directly contributing to these strategic goals. However, WorldVenture’s “bread and butter” focus in this European country will continue to be the development of New Testament churches, with an emphasis on the training of Austrian leaders. WorldVenture has been in Austria since 1969.
