What the Mission Trip Will Be Like
Responsibilities:
Attend outreach activities and church services. Assist church planting team to plan and implement outreach activities. Assist with men's, women's and children's programs. Reach out to multi-cultural communities through friendship. Study Spanish. Teach English (optional).
Requirements:
*Must be a US Citizen or US Permanent Resident. Female interns only.
A growing relationship with Jesus Christ. A willingness to live communally and serve sacrificially. A servants heart and a desire to learn how to effectively share the Gospel in a multi-cultural ministry context. A heart open to ministry to followers of Islam. Minimum age: 18 years old. Time Length: 1 – 3 months
Living Environment: Communally in a ministry house or in a Spanish home-stay.
Working Environment: Ministry Center; Church; Street Ministry

Relation of Opportunity to National Church and/or Long-term Goals
A goal of WorldVenture’s work in Spain is supporting spiritual growth in those whose hearts have been opened to the truth of God’s word. Encouragement and partnership is being given to local churches so they can pursue church health, multiplication and faithfulness. The Spain field has recently begun ministries to the Basque and others. WorldVenture has been working in Spain since 1984.
