The Middle East, most famously known as the “Cradle of Civilization,” is the birthplace of several religious faiths, including Christianity, Judaism, and Islam. It also has been an area of great unrest, with many countries suffering due to civil war and acts of violence. Unto® seeks to help those affected by the unrest by providing humanitarian aid, such as clothing, food, and school supplies. Unto mission trip teams help with another significant need — impaired vision.

You can join in Unto’s work by taking part in a vision clinic trip to the Middle East. As part of the vision clinic team, you will meet local residents person-to-person to assess vision needs and provide free glasses. This project will give you the opportunity to show the kindness of Jesus as you serve others. It also will help Unto field partners build ongoing relationships in the communities.

Time will be allotted for sightseeing and experiencing local culture.

No medical experience is needed. At the beginning of the trip, participants will be trained to test vision and fit eyeglasses.
