It takes one trip to this country to fall in love with this part of the world. But what will impact you the most is the people you will encounter in Spain. They are also a people in need of the Father’s love. Join us as we love and learn together in this epic corner of the world.

Ministry— You will spend most of your time in Madrid, the third largest city in the European Union. We will have plenty of opportunities to meet and talk with people from all over the world who are visiting this beautiful and historic city. Whether it is in Plaza Mayor, Puerta del Sol, Plaza del Dos de Mayo, Parque del Retiro, or any number of the famous spots to visit in the city – we will be there! In those places we’ll be doing street ministry and having significant conversations with the people we meet. We’ll also have the privilege of partnering with a local ministry that reaches out to specific people groups who may never have heard the gospel before!

Adventure—Just being in this part of the world means navigating ancient streets in cities full of noise, activity, and lively culture. In Madrid you will explore the city the way the locals do – by bus, train, metro, and on your own two feet. It is hard to imagine now, but you will become a pro at getting around the city. Who needs Uber when you have one of the best public transportation systems in the world! You will also meet and talk with people of all ages, and from many different cultures and countries. In addition to your time in Madrid, you’ll likely visit and explore the ancient city of Toledo as well as spend some time in Southern Spain – possibly Granada or Malaga. If this means nothing to you, just think Mediterranean beaches and you’ll get the idea!

Experience Culture—The friendly nature of the people in Spain is one of the reasons that there are so many people from other countries who choose to live and work there. One of the important aspects of life in Spain is family; and the people that you meet will quickly consider you to be part of their family! The arts are also a strong part of Spanish culture and Spain has produced world famous artists such as Goya, Picasso and Dali – you might even get to check out some of their work as you visit Museo del Prado, considered to be one of the best art museums in Europe. The city of Madrid, with over 3.2 million people, has managed to create a welcoming, fun, festive, and lively atmosphere. We can't wait to explore it with you!
