Your team will receive orientation upon arrival at the Priority 1 facility, located in the Bronx, NY, and you'll serve with established churches/ministries throughout New York City to distribute food/groceries to disadvantaged families & homeless; volunteer at a distribution center; do prayer walk and/or the "AmazinGRace" photo-scavenger hunt; and participate in conversational evangelism. Even a small group can make a huge impact through meeting physical needs in order to share the love of Jesus in deed & word. NYC ministries have made adjustments to their protocols in order to observe safety precautions for both groups serving as well as the people being served. (Trips are customized according to desires and abilities of your group.) Your group will be stretched, challenged, and grow spiritually as they touch lives in the inner-city.
