What the Mission Trip Will Be Like
Our missions internship programs provide collaborative opportunities to tap into the heart of global outreach while immersing yourself in a new culture, honing your occupational interests and skills, and contributing to training Spanish-speaking pastors who preach Christ with power, passion, and precision while planting and shepherding churches locally and globally.
Whether you’re passionate about education, healthcare, or business or want to shadow a missionary, don’t miss your chance to embark on this unforgettable journey of discovery, service, and transformation.
Build a community and lasting impact.
- Power means that you will be working alongside like-minded believers who come under the authority of the Scriptures in everything they do, according to the power at work within us (Colossians 1:29).
- Passion means that, as believers transformed by the Gospel, we also have a zeal to boldly proclaim Christ and see lives spiritually changed, with a spirit of power and love and discipline (2 Timothy 1:7).
- Precision means that, by partnering with us, you can be confident that the pastors with whom you collaborate on the field handle the Word of God accurately (2 Tim. 3:15) and will seek your personal spiritual growth while matching your spiritual gifts to the Church’s real ministry needs (1 Pet. 4:10).

Mission Trip Offered By SEPE International
SEPE International (SI) is the short-term missions arm of The Seminary for Expository Preaching (SEPE), a ministry committed to equipping Spanish-speaking pastors and leaders with high-quality theological education. SI operates in partnership with SEPE Honduras, SEPE Mexico, and SEPEGlobal, all accredited through the Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (TRACS). These institutions collectively aim to advance the Great Commission by strengthening local churches and preparing leaders with a gospel-centered focus.
SI connects churches and interns from across the globe to real ministry needs in Honduras, Mexico, and beyond. Its programs are designed to foster a deeper understanding of cross-cultural missions while strengthening the global church. Two key groups participate in SIs work: (1) interns who serve short-term to receive practical training and missionary insight, and (2) missionaries sent by their churches to serve local communities long-term. SI seeks to help participants develop Christlike character and grow in their ability to share the gospel effectively, both locally and globally.
In addition to training interns, SI facilitates church group missions where participants are encouraged to match their unique giftings with the needs of local ministries. This approach allows for sustainable impact while emphasizing relationship-building, cultural humility, and gospel-driven service.
By linking SEPE Internationals short-term programs with SEPEs long-term theological education efforts, SI supports the preparation of leaders who will continue the work of Christ in their communities. Ultimately, SI exists to unite the global church in fulfilling the mission of making disciples, equipping leaders, and proclaiming the gospel to the ends of the earth.
