What the Mission Trip Will Be Like
There’s more to camp than just having fun. We want to change lives and we do that by showing God’s love and providing challenging opportunities to overcome so campers and volunteers leave feeling more confident. The healing power of laughter, friendship, and shared experiences offer campers and volunteers the chance to make new friends, develop the courage to try new things, and build newfound confidence that they can carry back to church, school, social settings, and friendships in their daily lives.
Through adaptive activities, campers and volunteers get to experience flying down a 600' zipline across the lake, horseback riding, climbing a 30' climbing wall, canoeing, archery, being covered in paint, and dressing up for the nightly themed parties.
The day starts off with Rise N Shine at 7:15, silly morning songs at 8, breakfast 8:30, cabin cleanup and devo 9:15, morning activities from 10:00 – 12:00, lunch 12:15, camper nap time 1:15, volunteer and staff free time 1:30 – 2:45, sno cones 2:45, afternoon water activities 3 – 5, clean up and dress up for party 5:15, dinner at 6:15, themed party 7:15, worship and devo wrap-up at 8:15, camper lights out 9:30, volunteer and staff family time 10, lights out 11.

Relation of Opportunity to National Church and/or Long-term Goals
For many of our campers, they don’t get to attend church. For some, coming to Camp Conquest is the first time they’ve heard the gospel. We provide an avenue for both our campers and any missionaries that have not heard the gospel to hear it in an applicable way and surrounded by people that love them and show that through their actions.
Additional Trip Information
We also have a camp store that is open during off time selling camp merchandise and snacks.
Mission Trip Offered By Camp Conquest
Camp Conquest is a Christian overnight camp for special needs, chronic illnesses, and disabilities. Volunteer missionaries are paired up with a camper for the week and we provide all the training needed to make the week a life-changing experience for everyone. Each cabin group will have 4 campers, 4-5 counselors, and 2 cabin leaders. The week will include worship and devos, flying down a 400′ zipline across the lake, climbing a 25′ climbing wall, horseback riding, canoeing, archery, fishing, the giant paint party, and nightly themed parties. Campers and volunteers come from all over the country to experience a week like no other.
