What the Mission Trip Will Be Like
From transitional housing, recovery, community outreach and helping combat the effects of poverty, the Dream Center exists to help find and fill the needs of the Short Creek Community and beyond.
Our heart is to be supportive to anyone who is on a healing journey. We are also passionate about being a place of refuge for anyone leaving or escaping environments that would be considered abusive or oppressive.
One of our dreams is to see Short Creek become a beacon of hope and healing internationally. While many people that were in bondage are living their lives victoriously and freely, there are still a multitude of fundamentalist groups in the USA and other countries where people are still in need of help.
The Short Creek Dream Center is also a part of the largest network of organizations that help victims of human trafficking. Trafficking comes in many different forms and we want to see anyone suffering from exploitation be set free and have a place to go for support.

Housing
Housing for your mission trip is available on campus at the Short Creek Dream Center in a historic Short Creek mansion with majestic mountain views.
Rates start at only $60 per night per person. We can support groups of 1-50 people. 60 people will fit but would be a tight squeeze. We also partner with the local hotel that can house even bigger groups.
Transportation
Most groups fly to St. George, UT then rent vans to take to the outreaches and to the sightseeing parts of the trip. Others fly into Vegas and can rent vans or take the St. George Shuttle.
Some groups rent vans or take their church vans from their home states and make it a missions road trip.
Food
Basic meals are provided on campus at the Short Creek Dream Center and some groups choose to do family style meals off campus.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are all available in the dining hall of the Short Creek Dream Center and are a part of the missions schedule

Residential Support
The Short Creek Dream Center offers the services of a 40-bed residential support center. Here we house and walk alongside people who are experiencing a wide variety of life changing events. This includes but is not limited to substance abuse recovery, crisis intervention, life skills development and more.
Programs Designed for Healing
Our Recovery Center is equipped to help people achieve healing and restoration. We help people from all walks of life. For example, we often help people in the following scenarios:
-Escaping domestic violence
-Recovering from substance abuse
-Overcoming homelessness
-Healing from trauma
-Developing crucial life skills and more.
Community Outreach
At the Short Creek Dream Center we participate in a wide variety of community outreach. This includes planning and hosting events, assisting people in the community with household projects, holiday outreaches and more.

At the Short Creek Dream Center we participate in a wide variety of community outreaches. This includes assisting people in the community with household projects, community service, landscaping, construction, painting and more.
City Help Food Bank
The Short Creek Dream Center operates the City Help Food Bank which helps provide critical food resources to over 1500 people in the Short Creek area. This includes over 100,000 pounds of food monthly. Teams come in on Fridays and Saturdays from 12-3pm to help distribute the food.
Learning Center
The Short Creek Dream Center recently remodeled one of the houses on the premises. It is now the location of a learning center where we help close the gap in access to learning resources and empower people to further their education.

Mission Trip Offered By Short Creek Dream Center STM
Short Creek Dream Center STM is one of the most unique mission experiences you’ll find anywhere in the US. Based in Colorado City, AZ we are loving and serving the FLDS community who was ravaged by cult leader Warren Jeffs as seen on the popular NETFLIX documentary ” Keep Sweet, Pray and Obey”.
Short Creek Dream Center is now reaching our community and a part of the healing now taking place. You will participate in a wide variety of community outreaches. This includes assisting people in the community with household projects and community service projects.
One example is our City Help Food Bank.
