What the Mission Trip Will Be Like

Armenia - FCH Home.jpg

Approximately 65,000 families are in need of housing in Armenia, with many living in metal shipping containers called domics or living in the basements of half built houses due to not being able to finish them because of the sudden economic downturn in the 1990s. Since the launch of the Fuller Center Armenia in 2008, they have been able to provide safe, decent, and affordable housing to more than 1400 families.

Participants will have the unique opportunity to work side by side with the homeowners and other locals to build these new homes. In addition to providing safe housing, these trips provide locals with jobs, help support the local economy and create a life-changing experience for all involved. On your days off you'll go touring to see the countryside and various historical areas.

If you have a heart for combining construction and other types of service, traveling and experiencing new cultures than this trip is for you!

Mission Trip Offered By The Fuller Center for Housing

The Fuller Center for Housing is a non-profit, ecumenical Christian housing ministry dedicated to eliminating poverty housing worldwide. By forming partnerships with local organizations, The Fuller Center provides the structure, guidance and support that communities need to build and repair homes for the impoverished among them.

We operate through local Covenant Partner organizations, which are volunteer led and driven. Visiting Global Builders teams will have the opportunity to assist one of our local Fuller Centers — called Covenant Partners — build or renovate a home for a family in need in their community.
