Inquire about the trip

Camp Conquest is a Christian overnight camp that encourages individuals affected by disability to try things they never imagined possible. As they conquer activities like a 2-story rock wall, gliding down a zipline, canoeing, or horseback riding, campers build confidence that will shape the rest of their lives. Cabin Staff are responsible for planning, teaching, coordinating, and carrying out activities and guiding campers in their personal growth and daily living skills. Camp Staff will oversee volunteers paired 1:1 with campers for the duration of camp. This position requires 24 hour care and responsibility for volunteers and campers during the time at camp. It involves caring for the physical hygiene needs of our campers. This position also involves spiritual leadership and the willingness to teach daily Bible devotions to a cabin group.

Relation of Opportunity to National Church and/or Long-term Goals

Serving at Camp Conquest provides you with the opportunity to serve as the hands and feet of Jesus. Luke 14 commands us to invite those living with disabilities into our lives and to love them the way Christ would. Camp Conquest is a special place because we treat each of our campers, volunteers, and staff not only as family but as though they have a place where they belong. Our hope is to provide those living with disabilities with a sense of self – worth, independence, and value, to help them feel seen and loved.

Please join us as we share the gospel with our friends and provide them with an adventurous summer camp experience that will encourage them to try new things, conquer challenges, and grow in their own confidence.
