What the Mission Trip Will Be Like
Come and teach at this English-medium international school which follows an American curriculum. There are around 150 pupils from kindergarten to 12th grade, from Christian ex-pat families of over ten different nationalities. By educating these third-culture children, so far from their parents' homeland, you can play a vital role in enabling the families to live and minister effectively. Grow professionally as you apply your skills to mentor and disciple the next generation of transformational leaders. We welcome student teachers to do placements with us.
Staffing Needs for 2024-25:
Elementary: Homeroom Teachers; Pre-school (nursery teacher)
Middle School: Middle School Science
High School: Language Arts, Chemistry, Math, ELL
All School: Part-time school nurse, Human Resource Coordinator, Staff Care and Development; Special Education Specialist, ICT
Requirements:
Education degree or teaching certificate • Integrity, Flexibility, Teamwork, Leadership and Humour • Strong English proficiency • Classroom experience preferred • First year teachers may apply.
Qualities & Gifts Sought:
You have a heart to serve children who straddle three cultures, and to enable their families to live and work in this muslim country. You will need an education degree or teaching certificate to obtain a visa. You value teamwork and integrity, and you cherish flexibility, humour and leadership potential. Ideally an English mother-tongue speaker, with some classroom experience preferred.
