Love, support, encourage and develop the children out side of school hours and at weekends, in our happy, Christian, comfortable, home-from-home. Be a practical support for the hostel leaders in their role as foster parents during term time. Be a wise, listening ear and mental support for these young pupils who are apart from their families often for a whole academic year. Help the children with homework, supervise and organise activities, encourage cooking, household responsibilities, relaxation, sport, exercise and other social activities.

Give your time, energy and skills helping to care for our children's spiritual, emotional, educational and physical needs. You will be asked to step in when the Hostel Parents take holiday days or a weekend off.

Qualities & Gifts Sought:

• You are a mature Christian who enjoys spontaneity and flexibility.
• Ideally you have had experience raising children and love working with teenagers in a multi-cultural community.
• You enjoy working as a team and taking responsibility.
• You will need to be free to commit for a full academic year.

A police background check/disclosure will be carried out before acceptance. You will have accommodation off site, but be available to stay on the hostel premises as required.

This is an ideal position for a couple. Native English speakers are preferred.
