What the Mission Trip Will Be Like
This is one of WEC's new initiatives to enable church planting in Dili. Most Timorese live in constant fear and bondage to evil spirits, and do not know of the freedom that Jesus can bring, yet the door is open for more workers to join us. One ministry is done in cooperation with a local church. Another ministry is run from a team member's home.
Qualities & Gifts Sought
- Some experience of children's ministry is an advantage.
- For longterm workers, a professional qualification can help for a longer visa.
East Timor or Timor Leste is one of the newest countries in the world. It is located on an island that it shares with Indonesia from whom they gained indepencence. It was once a Portuguese colony. The WEC workers are a multucultural team with whom you will work alongside.
