The Global Church is inviting you to participate in what God is doing in the Patagonia region of Argentina.

Our partners are las Iglesias del Pacto in Bariloche and Ingeniero Jacobacci.  The two churches in Bariloche, and the one in Jacobacci, are very involved in community ministry. The have outreach to youth, small groups, participate in community events, have ministry to children, sports ministry, etc. The Jacobacci church is a small church plant. The two churches in Bariloche are well established. Teams would be engaged in community-based ministries led by the local churches.   

Bariloche is a three-hour flight from Buenos Aires and nestled in the Andes Mountains. In fact, this town is located inside of Nahuel Huapi National Park, famous for its mountains and lakes. Jacobacci is located about three hours drive from Bariloche, and is a small town in the middle of desert plains on a famous railroad line. 

This trips is for groups. Any age group is invited, any time of year, for any length of time. Trips are led, staffed and implemented by Argentine and Latin American leaders.

– Art, Music, Dance, Theater workshops

– Educational Programs in Schools (English, Science)

– Outreach

Besides these options, there are more. The goal would be to find out the skills and interests of your team and match them with the ongoing ministries of church partners in the area.

Trips are Mutually Designed with local partners utilizing your skills for ministry, learning from the Global Church, and building relationships with believers in the region.  Any age group is invited, any time of year, for any length of time.

All trips are led, staffed and implemented by Argentine Nationals and Latin American leaders. Merge is an organization directed by a leadership team made up of non-American Global Church leaders from around the world. Once your team sends in a deposit, the Merge Coach of Argentina, will contact your team leaders and work with your team, and the local church leaders, to develop an itinerary, ministry focus, and develop learning activities for your team. Local nationals will be hired as interpreters, guides, ministry coaches, cooks, and construction supervisors (if needed). 

Housing –  Homes of church members.

Food – Usually teams are fed two-American/Canadian-style uncooked meals each day, and one cooked Argentine meal made by local cooks, although more Argentine meals are possible. Purified water is also supplied for teams. 

Flights – teams would fly to Bariloche, Argentina. 

Ground Transportation – Merge will hire local bus companies to drive your team around around Bariloche, or to and from Jacobacci.

Learning – Learning activites with local church leaders and Merge staff will be designed into the itinerary.

Cultural Activities – Bariloche is located in the beautiful Nahuel Huapi National Park, with mountains, lakes, islands and more. There are lakes to swim in, natural sites to see and plenty of hiking options.
