What the Mission Trip Will Be Like
Join us at Mountainside Ministry Training (MMT) in Libby, Montana. Here you will spend four months with a group of people also called to serve as missionaries in God's Kingdom. You will have daily classes, get involved in a local church of your choosing in the community, and be mentored as you explore what God has for you in preparation for your ministry overseas.
MMT is distinct because:
1. Classes are intimate- Usually 6-8 students, plus children and teens)
2. Teachers arrive weekly to lead classes in Partner Raising, Grace, Cross-Cultural Adaptation, Evangelism, Preaching/Teaching, Spiritual Warfare, Interperonsal Skills, Discipleship, and Tools For Bible study.
3. Four-Month training- Longer training in a completely immersive experience provides you space to grow spiritually and work through issues in your life with God before you go onto the mission field.
4. You are given the personal freedom and responsibility before God to develop your ministry direction- We believe this time and this environment allows you to hear from God about what He has gifted you to do and impassioned you for in His Kingdom.
5. You meet weekly with a staff member to connect and pray.
6. We welcome families, married couples, and singles age 18 and over- You will form life-long relationships that often carry-over into the mission field.
