What the Mission Trip Will Be Like

Each day is thoughtfully structured to balance service work, cultural immersion, and personal reflection:

Morning Devotions and Team Meetings
- Start your day with group devotions, prayer, and team meetings to set the tone for the day's activities. This time is dedicated to spiritual growth and team bonding.
Community Outreach Programs
- Participate in a variety of service projects tailored to meet the needs of the local communities. This may include:
  - Healthcare Initiatives: Assisting at our Health and Birthing clinics, providing basic health education.
  - Educational Programs: Engaging with children and youth through teaching, tutoring, and our Suubi Club.
  - Agricultural Assistance: Supporting sustainable farming initiatives and food distribution programs.
Cultural Immersion
- Experience Ugandan culture firsthand by interacting with locals, visiting nearby villages, and participating in traditional ceremonies. You’ll have opportunities to learn basic phrases in Luganda, the local language, and enjoy Ugandan cuisine.

We partner together with many local pastors and churches in the surrounding villages.

You will not be going through an outside missions organization but working directly with Show Mercy International saving you a lot of money on a quality missions trip.
