What the Mission Trip Will Be Like
Do you enjoy working with children and helping others to learn? This trip has a little of both….doing a mini-camp with school aged children to help them with learning English in fun ways like cooking, crafts, Bible stories, and more. The other part of the trip will be connecting with University students to have some fun round table discussions and activities while practicing English and getting a chance to make new friends and help local churches with outreach in their communities. The camps will be happening most likely in Nis and in another smaller community called Negoshin. Volunteers coming to serve will be flying into Belgrade, Serbia. We will help with all the planning, logistics, flights, and training.

Relation of Opportunity to National Church and/or Long-term Goals
Several local churches have asked us to come and help do outreach by teaching English to their children and university ministry. It is an amazing way to develop friendships that also helps them to practice their English skills. We also have some very creative and fun activities that will include game times, crafts, cooking lessons, round table discussions, music, and more. The goal is to develop friendships that also might allow us to share more of our faith too and encourage them in their faith. Everything is done in partnership with local churches.

Footsteps Missions was started in 1999 with a vision to help mobilize volunteer short term missionaries to go all over the world helping to meet real needs and sharing the love of Christ. Over our 20 years we have had thousands of people go out to over 35 countries helping with everything from construction to sports camps to vacation Bible schools to training job skills to teaching English to just loving people.
