Embark on a weekend or week-long mission trip that leaves an eternal impact. Share the Word of God and the love of Jesus while serving others in practical and meaningful ways. Immerse yourself in new cultures right here in the USA, engage with the homeless and those in need, step out of your comfort zone, and discover God’s purpose for your life—all while making a lasting difference in local communities.
For over a decade, Christ For the City International has been equipping groups to transform lives and cities for the glory of God. Through the Urban Plunge program, we send over 1,500 youth annually into seven cities across the United States: Chicago, Los Angeles, Dallas, Omaha, Sioux Falls, Des Moines, and Kansas City.
We handle the logistics so you can focus on ministry. Each trip includes partnerships with 2-3 ministries daily, giving participants hands-on opportunities to explore how God is calling them. From accommodations to meals, we take care of it all at an affordable price. Every group is accompanied by a trained facilitator who will encourage and debrief participants, inspiring them to live lives of purpose and fulfillment for the Lord.

- Avenue of Life
- Avenue of Life is a community development organization that assists low-income families and individuals with services such as emergency food and housing relief, housing repairs, community cleanups, BackSnack programs, non-profit renovations, job training, career development, and more. Your group will have the opportunity to come alongside Avenue of Life and practically assist the Kansas City community.
- Beauty for Ashes Ministry
- This Christ-centered ministry works with women in prison, providing biblically-based programs to help prevent reoffending and prepare women for reentry into society. The ministry focuses on healing past wounds, discipleship, life skills, community support, and creating home plans. Your group will have the opportunity to hear about the amazing work of this ministry and its life-changing impact.

Christ For the City International (CFCI) is an international missions organization committed to serving others in the name of Christ. We have been shaped by the Biblical mandate to reach the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Since 1995, CFCI has been an innovative leader in modern mission circles and has become a respected urban ministry and mission agency.
It is our aim to encourage and strengthen local churches around the world. We do this by engaging and mentoring the Body of Christ to develop ministries and programs to bring hope to the city. We help local churches and ministries present people with the opportunity to develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and mobilize them into ministry. We have more than 500 mission workers in 15 countries serving through more than 130 different ministries!
