What the Mission Trip Will Be Like
Costa Rica is our largest CFCI base and we have many opportunities for teams to serve in a wide variety of ministries.
- Bring hope to children living in slum communities by partnering with our Bible School or other children's programs. Participate in feeding programs, VBS, dramas, puppets, music, sports and games.
- Bring your sports team to teach at-risk children and play competitive games against local teams.
- Serve substance addicted girls as part of our RENCAER program. Minister to these girls through Bible Studies, crafts, sports, games and the love of Jesus Christ.
- Serve at our medical/dental clinic, centered in La Carpio: the largest slum in Central America.
- Join a vocational training ministry to teach sewing and crafts to impoverished women's groups, or carpentry, baking, hair and cosmetology to teenagers who live in slum communities.
- Train pastors and church leaders, holding seminars on leadership development, evangelism, prayer, children's ministry and more.

Christ For the City International (CFCI) is an international missions organization committed to serving others in the name of Christ. We have been shaped by the Biblical mandate to reach the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Since 1995, CFCI has been an innovative leader in modern mission circles and has become a respected urban ministry and mission agency.
It is our aim to encourage and strengthen local churches around the world. We do this by engaging and mentoring the Body of Christ to develop ministries and programs to bring hope to the city. We help local churches and ministries present people with the opportunity to develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and mobilize them into ministry. We have more than 500 mission workers in 15 countries serving through more than 130 different ministries!
