What the Mission Trip Will Be Like
Volunteer at camp! It's like summer camp in Africa during winter break!
We need camp counselors, speakers, worship leaders, photographers, sports outreach, skits and many other possibilities!
- Where? Uganda, Africa
- When? December 27, 2026 – January 4, 2027
- How much? Adults: $1,500 USD; Teens (13-17 years old)*: $650 USD and Children*: $500 *when coming with an adult
- What does it include? This price includes meals, accommodation, transportation while in Uganda, and sending 8 kids to camp (for the adult price)
Adult applications submit to $150 administration fee, due after acceptance.

Empower Camp allows us time to pour into our sponsored children, many who are orphaned or come from broken family homes and teach them about Christ and strengthening their relationship with Him while building community.

Mission Trip Offered By Empower a Child
Empower a Child works in Kampala and Zirobwe, Uganda and Nairobi, Kenya. We work with schools, orphanages, babies’ homes, and hospitals bringing the love of Christ to children in need. Individuals, families, friends, church groups, school groups, and college groups are welcome to join us in our weekly outreach programs for trips lasting anywhere from 2 weeks to 6 months. All trips are customize-able, depending on when you would like to come.
