Serve alongside local ministry leaders in Zimbabwe by bringing prayer, encouragement, compassion, and practical support to hospital patients and families walking through difficult moments.

This trip is ideal for healthcare workers, churches, students, young adults, families, and individuals who want to serve people during some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives. You don’t need medical training to participate. You simply need compassion, humility, and a willingness to listen, encourage, pray, and serve wherever needed.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Partner with Zimbabwean ministry leaders who are already deeply invested in their communities and the people they serve.

• Visit and encourage hospital patients and families through prayer, conversation, listening, and compassionate presence.

• Offer practical support by helping with medication assistance efforts and other needs connected to hospital ministry.

• Encourage healthcare workers and caregivers while serving through prayer, worship, testimonies, and relationship-building.

• Serve alongside local churches and ministries through hospital outreach and broader compassion ministry in the community.

You’ll fly into Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, and serve alongside local ministry leaders and churches who are faithfully caring for patients, families, and communities.

Sometimes Healing Begins With Simply Being There.

For many families in Zimbabwe, access to healthcare, medication, transportation, and ongoing support can be difficult. Patients may arrive at the hospital carrying not only physical pain, but also fear, loneliness, financial stress, and uncertainty about the future.

You may sit beside a patient, listen to their story, pray with a family, encourage a caregiver, help provide medication assistance, or simply offer a reassuring presence. These moments may seem simple, but they can remind someone that they are seen, valued, and not alone.
