What the Mission Trip Will Be Like
Evangelism Emphasis:
Your mission trip to Utah will help you understand what you believe, why you believe it and how to articulate it to others. You will live in a culture that originally wanted to depart from the United States in the 1800's and create their own way of life. You will learn how to share grace and truth in a loving and prayerful way.
We will connect with other college students at the University of Utah, Weber State University, Brigham Young University, Utah Valley University and others as we partner with existing college ministries like
Ratio Christi and others along with local churches that want to build relationship with college students and share the grace and truth of Christ. You will learn how to share the Gospel with Mormons so that they will understand what you mean by terms that they use, but have a different meaning. It will be a time to really seek to reason in love a message that is foreign to the Mormon's ear.
Come and see the land the Lord allowed us to purchase to build a place for mission teams to stay along with our friends at Discovery Christian Community Church in the Salt Lake area.
Our hope is that the local Bible believing churches in Utah will grow by way of your involvement in assisting them by inviting people to church services, and providing service projects for local churches as well as other Christian ministries.
The Lord has allowed UPFC to oversee approx. 2,500 students to spend a week in Utah enjoying the mountains and rivers and learning how to be an Ambassador for Christ.
We seek the Lord to open doors to interact with those we may have met in the past through the radio ministry we oversee as well.
Your experience will stretch you and challenge you to humbly prepare how to answer the questions asked by those who live in Utah. You will see your group intentionally and prayerfully communicate the Gospel to those who live in Utah.

Relation of Opportunity to National Church and/or Long-term Goals
We seek to assist local churches by inviting people to church services in a neighborhood by way of door hanger distribution. We seek to provide assistance and encouragement to local churches and ministries such as AM 820 Christian radio, The Rescue Mission of Salt Lake, and other Bible centered ministries. As we do free car washes at our ministry house or go on campus at Weber State University, we seek to connect people with Bible centered churches. We tailor each trip by way of a day of training at your sending location for 5 hours, then a 2 hour planning session. We seek to connect our activities with a local church in Utah to connect those we contact with someone who will be here after the team goes home.

Mission Trip Offered By Utah Partnerships for Christ
We are equipping College and Adult mission teams on how to effectively share grace and truth to our Mormon neighbors. After we lead you and your team through a 5-hour training session we sit down with leaders and prayerfully draw out an itinerary for your trip to Salt Lake City, Utah. We offer trips ranging from 5 to 10 days. In Utah teams are given opportunities to put what they have learned into action. Team members will be submerged into a culture unlike their own.
We also offer “free” days with all the activities Utah offers.
November – March we have a Ski & Share trip which includes skiing/snowboarding along with Evangelizing to the LDS culture.
From April – October we offer Hike & Share trip that includes hiking, rafting and/or mountain biking to compliment your time sharing Jesus with the lost population in Utah.
