What the Mission Trip Will Be Like

Use your skills and compassion to build relationships, affirm women, and share the hope of Jesus.
Through hair styling and beauty services, manicures, aesthetic care, discipleship, mentorship, and community outreach, you’ll serve alongside local ministry leaders and create meaningful opportunities for women to experience connection, encouragement, and care.
This trip is ideal for individuals, families, students, young adults, church groups, and women’s groups who want to use their talents to serve women in a cross-cultural setting. You don’t have to be an expert or have everything figured out. You simply need a willingness to serve, learn, and connect with others.
What You’ll Be Doing

Partner with local ministry leaders who are already invested in the women and families in their communities.

Provide beauty and personal care services such as hair styling, manicures, skincare, and other aesthetic services.

Build meaningful relationships through conversation, mentorship, prayer, and discipleship.

Create welcoming spaces where women feel seen and valued while offering encouragement, practical care, and opportunities for connection.

Serve in several of Guatemala’s largest cities while staying at one of our local CFCI bases.
You’ll fly into Guatemala City, Guatemala, and stay in a Christ For the City International guesthouse while experiencing ministry alongside local leaders and communities.

For women facing poverty, limited opportunities, and difficult circumstances, a simple act of personal care can become an opportunity to slow down, connect, and feel valued. What happens in the chair can be about much more than hair, nails, or skincare.
You may style someone’s hair, give a manicure, offer skincare advice, share coffee and conversation, pray with a woman, or simply take the time to listen. These everyday moments can open the door to encouragement, friendship, discipleship, and the hope of Jesus.
