Mexico Mission Trip: Medical/Dental/All Volunteers are Needed

Are you ready to serve and make a lasting impact?

Join CERT International on a medical and dental mission to the farming villages of the Mexicali Valley, where physical and spiritual needs are great—but so is the opportunity to bring hope!

You don’t have to be a medical or dental professional to make a difference. We welcome volunteers of all backgrounds and ages (children 10+ included). Whether you’re assisting in clinics, offering compassion, or sharing the love of Christ, your presence matters!

What You’ll Experience:

• Partner with local churches to provide free medical and dental care.
• Support evangelism efforts to share the love of Christ.
• Help with church-building projects to strengthen the local faith community.
• Immerse yourself in the culture of small farming villages.
• Stay in church dorms and enjoy home-cooked meals.
• Experience meaningful fellowship with teammates and locals.

Team members will fly into San Diego, CA, then travel about 3 hours across the mountains to Mexicali, Mexico. Each day, we will host free medical and dental clinics, serve in ministry, and bring encouragement to the local community. Be the hands and feet of Jesus!

• VACCINES REQUIRED – NONE. Suggest having a current tetanus, Hep. A and Hep B. 
• MEDICATIONS REQUIRED – NONE.
• VISA REQUIRED – NONE.
• LIABILITY RELEASE – YES. Sign and returned to CERT. The "Form" is included with your information pack after.
• BACKGROUND CHECK – YES. All applications received on or after January 1, 2026 must submit a "Background Check". CERT will send you a LINK to follow. $0.00 US Citizens, There is a fee for Canadian or other countries.

Deposit Submission:

• $150 is refundable up to 30 days before the trip.

Travel Documents Required (as of March 2025)

• US Visitors must obtain a Multiple Immigration Form. There is no charge for a tourist FMM for stays of less than 7 days when entering by land. For visitors staying more than 7 days and entering by land, it will cost 687 Mexican pesos or around US$40. The FMM is required for all visitors entering via air, regardless of length of stay, and the cost is included in the traveler's airfare and remitted by the airline.
• A passport card or enhanced driver's license is valid for land and sea travel.
• Exit stamp required if you entered using paper FMM (All land POEs)
• You are in Mexico illegally if you did not get an FMM at the border (even if using the 7-day FMM fee exemption via land) or eFMM
• Mandatory car disinfection at Mexico's southern borders (Guatemala and Belize)

Trip Cost: $1000 + Airfare
Included:

• In-country accommodations, transportation, and meals
• Traveler’s medical insurance
• Cost-share of medical supplies and clinic expenses

Not Included:

• Personal shopping and sightseeing
• Airfare (varies by departure location and booking date)

No prior training is required for this trip. A team manual will be provided before departure. Training includes:

• Pre-field preparation through the CERT Team Manual, a mission-specific guide, a pre-trip devotional, and ongoing communication with our office and team leader.
• On-field orientation and training at the ministry site
