What the Mission Trip Will Be Like
Since 1995, TIME Missions has partnered with Pastor Samuel Martinez and the Casa de Dios network of churches. Over the years, he has raised up pastors through a Bible institute and 23 TIME chapels have been built in the Cabrera and surrounding area. One of the challenges in serving this area is that it is three hours away from the TIME DR ministry center in Santo Domingo. Typically, groups would only be able to visit the communities they are serving on the chapel construction day. TIME is all about connection and relationships and we wondered, how can we better serve the pastors and short-term teams? As a result we have begun the first steps to establishing a more permanent TIME presence in the area. Teams will be able to fly into the Puerto Plata airport on the north coast and travel to a rental house where our teams of up to 20 people can stay for the week.
**Please note, minimum 15 participants needed**
Our TIME missionaries and volunteers, as well as the local churches will be with you every step of the way.
Light construction projects such as benches, chapel repair and painting will support the churches that have already been built. Evangelistic outreaches will include sports ministry, VBS, and more. Bringing people to Jesus is limited only by your team's creativity!!

TIME Missions originated in 1968 when a group of young people from the US spent a week during their Christmas vacation in the village of Pueblo Nuevo, just outside of Monterrey in Mexico. At that point, the ministry was called Teenage Institute of Missionary Evangelism. However, because so many of the participants in subsequent years were adults the name was changed to The Institute of Missionary Evangelism and is now known simply as TIME Missions. After much growth, the base was moved into the urban environment of the intercity of Monterrey during the 80s. In 1991, a site was opened in Santo Domingo, the Dominican Republic.
Since 1968, the passion of TIME Missions is to Know God and Advance Missions. We connect your short-term mission team with local churches in the Dominican Republic, Mexico, & Haiti.
