1.What are some ministry tasks that you want the intern to accomplish while serving with you?
Building relationships, assisting with running of clothing ministry, gospel outreaches, Jesus Film nights, kids’ programs, and women’s programs (when applicable)
2. What are some key lessons from your ministry and walk with the Lord that you want to impart to the interns to help them as they consider their own individual call to missions or vocational ministry?
Be ready to do or go wherever the Lord calls you. Sometimes he calls you to a place that you weren’t expecting, but He always equips you to go wherever He calls you. Come before Him with open hands.

4. What would a typical day look like?
Mondays: 4-6pm you are doing something related to clothing room, whether sorting clothes, hanging clothes, or giving clothes to refugees
Tuesdays: team worship time and logistics meeting, 2-6pm are also giving clothing to refugees in the afternoons
Wednesdays: German class, women and kids’ program, gospel outreach
Thursdays: Kids’ program, Jesus Film night
Fridays: German class, Women’s program (1-6pm)
Saturdays: Book table every other week
Sundays: Attending church/ Rest
5. Please list specific skills an intern may expect to develop by the time the internship is completed.
Interacting with new people from various languages and cultures, making decisions about how to use ministry resources, learning how to evangelize and disciple Muslims, gaining knowledge of the refugee highway and of Islam.

Relation of Opportunity to National Church and/or Long-term Goals
Someone serving with Oasis would likely attend the local Austrian church that the hosts do, which is the closest in proximity to the ministry. They have English translation and lots of young people.
Additionally, local churches from around the area help support Oasis Refugee Ministry.

Action International Ministries (ACTION) is a global mission agency committed to sending multi-national missionaries who treasure Jesus Christ and minister His Gospel in word and deed, primarily to the poor.
Our three-prong strategy for urban ministry can be defined under three headings: evangelism, discipleship, and development.
