What the Mission Trip Will Be Like
Join a team passionate about making disciples of unreached people groups in Ethiopia and North Africa, and mobilizing and equipping the local churches in Ethiopia to do the same.
In this internship, you will experience what life is like for a family on the mission field by living and sharing life with a family and their 3 boys (10, 7 & 2 years old). You will be immersed in the local culture by learning the language, taking local transport, eating local food, and joining a team focusing on reaching Muslims and finding families of peace.
You'll need to be:

Willing to spend time in the local community, learning language, culture and building relationships.

Willing to serve as part of a team under the direction of the ministry leader(s)

Able to connect with different age groups
No minimum education level required. Depending on your skillset and ministry interests you'll be connected to areas to serve in.
Monthly costs:
- Accommodation (including power & water) 200 USD
- Food (including eating out) 200 USD
- Phone & Internet 20 USD
- Transport 200 USD
- Toiletries, personal care items etc 20 USD
- Entertainment (eg going swimming, movies) 50 USD
- Miscellaneous 50 USD
- Insurance 60-100 USD (60 USD per month for basic insurance for a single person with Safetywing)
Other Costs
- Flights to Addis Ababa and back
- Visa (152 USD for 90 days) (x2 if staying for 6 months, x3 if staying up to 9 months)
- Visa run (x1 if staying for 6 months, x2 if staying up to 9 months) – return trip to a nearby country (eg return flight from Addis to Nairobi ~500 USD, plus accommodation and food. Budget more if you want to make a trip of it, eg including a safari..)
- 1-2 trips to Bahir Dar (to experience another area and ministry) 200-400 USD
- Emergency fund (eg in case of evacuation) 500 USD

Mission Trip Offered By World Outreach International
World Outreach exists to evangelize and disciple unreached people groups, equipping them to disciple their own and other people groups.
Our mission and goals are accomplished by establishing partnerships with the Body of Christ worldwide to engage in transformational discipleship among unreached people groups.
