What the Mission Trip Will Be Like
Equip. Encourage. Multiply.
Use your experience, knowledge, and encouragement to strengthen leaders, support local churches, and help equip others for ministry.
Through seminars, workshops, mentorship, prayer, and collaborative ministry opportunities, you’ll serve alongside local pastors and leaders who are faithfully serving their communities every day.
This trip is ideal for pastors, church leaders, ministry teams, college students, and individuals who want to encourage and equip local leaders while growing in cross-cultural ministry. You don’t need to arrive with all the answers or have a massive platform. You simply need a willingness to share, learn, listen, and invest in others.
What You’ll Be Doing

Partner with Costa Rican pastors and ministry leaders who are already deeply invested in their churches and communities.

Encourage and equip local leaders through Biblical teaching, practical training, mentorship, prayer, and authentic relationships.

Share experiences and ministry knowledge through leadership development, discipleship, evangelism, pastoral care, family ministry, youth ministry, and church outreach.

Strengthen local churches by supporting leaders who are serving children, youth, families, women, men, and entire communities with the hope and love of Jesus.

Serve in several of Costa Rica’s largest cities while staying at one of our local CFCI bases.
You’ll fly into San José, Costa Rica, and stay in a Christ For the City International guesthouse while experiencing ministry alongside local leaders and communities.

This ministry isn’t about arriving with all the answers. It’s about serving humbly, sharing what you’ve learned, learning from one another, and encouraging the local church.
