What the Mission Trip Will Be Like

Use your creativity to build relationships, serve communities, and share the love of Jesus.
Through art classes, sewing workshops, crafts, painting projects, and creative outreach, you’ll serve alongside local ministry leaders and connect with children, women, and families in meaningful, personal ways.
This trip is ideal for individuals, families, students, and church groups who have a creative gift—or simply a willingness to create, serve, and grow in ministry in a cross-cultural setting. You don’t have to be a professional artist. You just need a heart to serve and a willingness to use what’s in your hands to bless others.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Partner with local ministry leaders who are already invested in their communities.
- Create spaces of joy and connection where children, women, and families can experience the love of Jesus.
- Put creativity into action by helping paint murals, lead art classes, teach sewing, organize crafts, and facilitate creative activities.
- Build relationships through hands-on ministry that opens doors for conversations, encouragement, prayer, and sharing the Gospel.
- Serve in several of Costa Rica’s largest cities while staying at one of our local CFCI bases.
You’ll fly into San José, Costa Rica, and stay in a Christ For the City International guesthouse while experiencing ministry alongside local leaders and communities.

You may come with a paintbrush, a sewing needle, a sketchbook, or simply a willingness to create something beautiful with others. God can use all of it.
