What the Mission Trip Will Be Like
Walk Alongside. Build Up. Transform.
Use your time, experience, and compassion to build relationships, encourage men, and share the hope of Jesus.
Through Bible studies, community outreach, testimony sharing, practical skill-building, prayer, and mentorship, you’ll serve alongside local ministry leaders who are helping men move from addiction, gang involvement, hopelessness, and brokenness toward lives of purpose and servant leadership in the Kingdom of God.
This trip is ideal for men’s groups, churches, young adults, skilled workers, ministry teams, and individuals who want to invest in the lives of men and grow in cross-cultural ministry. You don’t need to have all the answers or be a professional counselor. You simply need humility, compassion, and a willingness to walk alongside others.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Partner with local ministry leaders who are already deeply invested in the lives of men and their communities.
- Build relationships through discipleship and mentorship by leading Bible studies, sharing testimonies, praying with men, and encouraging spiritual growth.
- Create opportunities for growth and purpose through practical skills training, life skills, hands-on workshops, and meaningful conversations.
- Encourage men toward transformation by helping create environments where they are seen, valued, challenged, supported, and pointed toward the hope of Jesus.
- Serve in several of Costa Rica’s largest cities while staying at one of our local CFCI bases.
You’ll fly into San José, Costa Rica, and stay in a Christ For the City International guesthouse while experiencing ministry alongside local leaders and communities.
Your Presence Can Make a Difference.
This ministry is about more than programs. It’s about relationships. Walking with people consistently. Encouraging growth. And reminding men they were created for more.
You may lead a Bible study, share your testimony, pray with someone, teach car maintenance, demonstrate a hands-on trade, or simply sit down and listen to a man’s story. You don’t need a platform to make an impact. Your willingness to show up, listen, encourage, and invest in someone’s life can be a powerful ministry.
