Through construction and service projects in Guatemala, you’ll come alongside local churches, ministry centers, schools, and community spaces to help meet practical needs while building relationships and sharing the love of Jesus.

Projects can include painting, repairs, building improvements, maintenance, community spaces, ministry facilities, classrooms, churches, sheds, outreach centers, and other hands-on service opportunities based on current needs in the community.

This trip is ideal for individuals, families, students, church groups, skilled workers, and anyone who is willing to work hard and serve in a cross-cultural setting. You don’t have to be a professional contractor. Whether you have years of construction experience or simply know how to show up, work hard, and lend a hand, there’s a place for you on the team.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Partner with local churches and ministry leaders who are already deeply invested in their communities.
• Use practical skills to meet real needs through painting, repairs, construction, maintenance, and building improvements.
• Help create safe, welcoming spaces where children, families, and communities can experience hope, connection, and the love of Jesus.
• Build relationships through service by working alongside local leaders, churches, and community members.
• Serve in several of Guatemala’s largest cities while staying at one of our local CFCI bases.

You’ll fly into Guatemala City, Guatemala, and stay in a Christ For the City International guesthouse while experiencing ministry alongside local leaders and communities.

Sometimes ministry looks like leading worship or sharing your testimony. Sometimes it looks like painting a wall, building a classroom, repairing a roof, organizing supplies, or helping create a space where a child feels safe and welcomed.

You don’t need to have every skill or know how to do everything. You just need to be willing to serve.
