What the Mission Trip Will Be Like
Create. Worship. Connect.
Use your musical gifts to build relationships, encourage others, and share the hope of Jesus.
Through worship, music workshops, community outreach, children’s programs, discipleship, and relationship-based ministry, you’ll serve alongside Guatemalan ministry leaders and use music as a way to connect with children, youth, families, and communities.
This trip is ideal for musicians, worship leaders, singers, bands, students, young adults, church groups, and individuals who want to use their musical gifts in a cross-cultural setting. Whether you play guitar, piano, drums, or another instrument, sing, lead worship, or simply love making music with others, there are opportunities to serve. You don’t have to be a professional musician. You simply need a willingness to share your gifts and connect with people.
What You’ll Be Doing

Partner with Guatemalan ministry leaders who are already deeply invested in their communities and the people they serve.

Use music to build relationships through worship, music activities, workshops, performances, and creative outreach.

Encourage children and youth through music lessons, group activities, songwriting, games, and opportunities to discover and develop their own gifts.

Support local churches and ministries through worship, discipleship, prayer, testimonies, and community outreach.

Serve in communities throughout Guatemala while experiencing ministry alongside local leaders and churches.
You’ll fly into Guatemala City, Guatemala, and stay in a Christ For the City International guesthouse while experiencing ministry alongside local leaders and communities.
Your Music Can Open a Door.
Music has a way of bringing people together. A song can start a conversation. A guitar can gather a group of kids. A worship set can create space to encounter God. A shared musical experience can build a relationship that lasts far beyond the moment.
You may lead worship, teach a child a few guitar chords, help with a music workshop, play alongside a local church, sing with a group of young people, share your testimony, or simply make music with others. You don’t have to perform perfectly. You just have to be willing to use what you have.
