Zimbabwe Women's Ministry Mission Trip: Entrepreneurship, Life Skills & Community Development

Use your skills, creativity, and compassion to build relationships, encourage women, and share the hope of Jesus.

Through women’s empowerment programs, entrepreneurship and small business training, life skills development, discipleship, mentorship, and community outreach, you’ll serve alongside local ministry leaders and connect with women and families in meaningful ways.

This trip is ideal for individuals, families, students, young adults, church groups, and women’s groups who want to use their skills and experience to encourage and equip women in a cross-cultural setting. You don’t have to be an expert or have everything figured out. You simply need a willingness to serve, learn, encourage others, and invest in people.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Partner with local ministry leaders who are already deeply invested in their communities and the women they serve.

• Support women’s empowerment programs through entrepreneurship and small business training, life skills development, and practical workshops such as making perfume, detergents, laundry soap, skincare products, and other household items that can create income opportunities.

• Build relationships through discipleship and mentorship by sharing stories, offering encouragement, praying together, and creating spaces where women feel seen, valued, and supported.

• Encourage women through practical and spiritual support including prayer ministry, testimony and story sharing, leadership development, and meaningful conversations.

• Serve alongside and support women facing unique challenges, including widows, single mothers, and women living with disabilities, while participating in community outreach and relationship-building.

You’ll fly into Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, and stay in a Christ For the City International guesthouse while experiencing ministry alongside local leaders and communities.
