Zimbabwe Youth Ministry Mission Trip: High School Discipleship, Bible Teaching & Outreach

Invest. Encourage. Empower.

Use your time, energy, and compassion to build relationships with teenagers, encourage their faith, and share the hope of Jesus.

Through high school outreach, teen discipleship, mentorship, Bible teaching, prayer ministry, games, creative activities, and relationship-based ministry, you’ll serve alongside local ministry leaders and invest in the next generation.

This trip is ideal for individuals, families, students, young adults, youth groups, schools, and church groups who want to encourage teenagers and grow in cross-cultural ministry. You don’t need to be a youth pastor, teacher, or professional counselor. You simply need a willingness to show up, listen, have fun, share what you know, and point students toward Jesus.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Partner with local ministry leaders who are already deeply invested in local schools, teenagers, and their communities.

• Build relationships with high school students through conversations, mentorship, games, team activities, and meaningful time together.

• Teach and encourage students in their faith through Bible lessons, discussion groups, worship, prayer ministry, testimony sharing, and discipleship.

• Create spaces for connection and belonging through crafts, creative activities, games, youth gatherings, and community outreach.

• Encourage teenagers through a challenging season of life by listening to their stories, affirming their value, and helping them discover their identity, purpose, and hope in Christ.

You’ll fly into Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, and stay in a Christ For the City International guesthouse while experiencing ministry alongside local leaders, schools, and communities.

Sometimes Showing Up Can Change Everything.

Teenagers in Zimbabwe are growing up in a world filled with pressure, uncertainty, poverty, unemployment, family struggles, and limited opportunities for the future. Many are searching for identity, belonging, purpose, and hope—and they need people willing to walk alongside them.

You may lead a Bible discussion, organize a game, share your testimony, help with a creative activity, pray with a student, worship together, or simply sit and listen to a teenager’s story. Every conversation and every moment of encouragement can remind a student that they matter, that they are seen, and that their future is not defined by their circumstances.
