What the Mission Trip Will Be Like

Care. Encourage. Include.

Use your time, compassion, and skills to build relationships, support children with disabilities and their families, and share the love of Jesus.

Through childcare, developmental activities, therapy support, creative play, family encouragement, and relationship-based ministry, you’ll serve alongside Thai ministry leaders, caregivers, therapists, and staff to help children learn, grow, play, and experience genuine care and inclusion.

This trip is ideal for individuals, families, students, young adults, church groups, educators, healthcare workers, therapists, and child development professionals who want to serve children with disabilities and their families in a meaningful way. Professionals can use their specialized training, but you don’t need professional credentials to make an impact. You simply need compassion, patience, a willingness to learn, and a desire to love people well.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Partner with local ministry leaders and caregivers at the Christian Care Foundation for Children with Disabilities (CCD), a rehabilitation center, daycare program, and early childhood development center.
  • Serve children with disabilities through childcare, developmental play, games, crafts, creative activities, and learning support.
  • Support therapy and rehabilitation programs by assisting local therapists and staff with physical therapy, developmental activities, and other appropriate support. Professionals such as physiotherapists, occupational therapists, educators, and healthcare workers can use their specialized skills in meaningful ways.
  • Encourage children and families by building relationships, celebrating each child’s abilities and progress, supporting caregivers, and creating spaces where families feel seen, valued, and supported.
  • Support local staff and ministry efforts through prayer, encouragement, community outreach, and providing developmental toys, educational resources, and other practical support.

You’ll fly into Bangkok, Thailand, and serve alongside Thai ministry leaders, caregivers, therapists, and staff through CCD while experiencing ministry with children and families in the local community.

Every Child Is Created With Purpose.

Every child is created in the image of God and has immeasurable value. For children with disabilities and their families, compassionate care, encouragement, and inclusion can make a lasting difference.

You may help with a developmental activity, play a game, assist with therapy exercises, read with a child, create a craft, encourage a caregiver, pray with a family, or simply spend time building a relationship. Every moment is an opportunity to celebrate a child’s potential and remind them and their family that they are seen, valued, and deeply loved by God.

If you’re ready to serve children with disabilities, encourage families, and use your time, skills, and compassion to make a difference, inquire on this page to learn more and find out how you can be part of the team.

Relation of Opportunity to National Church and/or Long-term Goals

Our missionaries are long-term workers at each of our locations. At most of our bases, the local ministries are run by long-term missionaries who are native to the country and know the specific needs of the communities they serve. They intentionally and consistently follow-up with the communities your team ministers to.
