What the Mission Trip Will Be Like
Love. Encourage. Belong.
Use your time, compassion, and presence to build relationships, encourage vulnerable children, and share the love of Jesus.
Through childcare, relationship-building, creative activities, games, educational support, and practical care, you’ll serve alongside local ministry leaders and staff who care for children who have experienced poverty, abandonment, or difficult family circumstances.
This trip is ideal for individuals, families, students, young adults, church groups, educators, and anyone who loves working with children and wants to serve in a cross-cultural setting. You don’t need to be a professional teacher, counselor, or childcare worker. You simply need patience, compassion, a willingness to serve, and a desire to invest in the lives of children.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Partner with local ministry leaders and caregivers who are already deeply invested in the lives of vulnerable children and the community around them.
- Build meaningful relationships with children through games, conversations, shared activities, crafts, and simply spending intentional time together.
- Support daily care and educational activities by assisting with childcare, learning activities, homework, and other practical needs.
- Create opportunities for joy, connection, and belonging through sports, creative activities, outings, games, and other experiences that help children feel seen and valued.
- Encourage children through prayer and the love of Jesus while supporting local staff and learning from those who serve these children year-round.
You’ll fly into Bangkok, Thailand, and serve alongside local ministry leaders and caregivers while experiencing ministry with vulnerable children in the community.
Sometimes What a Child Needs Most Is Someone Who Shows Up.
Children who have experienced abandonment, poverty, or difficult family circumstances can carry challenges far beyond what we see on the surface. Consistent care, genuine friendship, and someone willing to spend time with them can remind a child that they are valuable, loved, and not forgotten.
You may play a game, help with homework, make a craft, kick a soccer ball, share a meal, listen to a child’s story, help with a daily activity, or simply sit and laugh together. These simple moments can become meaningful opportunities to build trust, bring joy, and demonstrate the love of Jesus.
