What the Mission Trip Will Be Like
Tapas, cathedrals, and the Camino de Santiago — the Iberian Peninsula is equal parts beautiful and formative. Join career missionaries already at work in Spain and Portugal, pick up new language skills, and support local churches doing Kingdom work in historic cities.
You’ll walk stretches of the Camino, wrestle with what it means to depend fully on Christ outside your comfort zone, and get mentored the whole way through. It’s adventure and discipleship in equal measure.
Are you in for a summer of evangelism and growth on the Iberian coast?

Relation of Opportunity to National Church and/or Long-term Goals
You’ll serve alongside career missionaries and local believers who are faithfully making disciples throughout Spain and Portugal. By stepping into existing ministries and partnerships with local churches, you’ll get a firsthand look at the long-term work of evangelism, discipleship, and church strengthening in the region. As you build relationships, support ongoing outreach efforts, and learn from those serving on the field, you’ll see how God is at work across the Iberian Peninsula and how the local church plays a vital role in that story.
Additional Trip Information
Mission Trip Offered By TEAM
Around the world, countless communities still have little or no opportunity to encounter the Gospel and the transforming love of Jesus. By walking closely with churches and caring for workers, TEAM helps establish and sustain missional churches and communities of faith that endure long after workers return home. Our ministries will remain wonderfully varied, reflecting the many gifts God has given His people and the unique needs of the communities we serve. Yet beneath that diversity can be a shared conviction: whatever form our ministry takes, we desire to see healthy, indigenous, missional churches fellowships of Jesus followers living the way of Christ, established where access to the Gospel is limited. We strive to mobilize disciples from anywhere to serve everywhere, focusing on the places where the most need exists. In over 135 years of ministry, strategies and needs have changed countless times, but one thing never will: Where Christ calls us, we will go.
