What the Mission Trip Will Be Like

Use your love of soccer to encourage young people, create space for hope, and share the love of Jesus.
For more than 18 years, CFCI El Salvador’s Altavista Soccer School has welcomed hundreds of youth each week. Through soccer—one of the most-loved sports in El Salvador—the program creates a place where young people can have fun, be encouraged, and hear the Gospel.
You’ll join local ministry leaders in using soccer as a way to connect with kids and share the love of Jesus. You don’t have to be a professional soccer player. You just need to love the game, love people, and be willing to play.
This trip is ideal for soccer players, coaches, students, families, church groups, and anyone who enjoys working with kids and wants to serve in a cross-cultural setting.
What You’ll Be Doing

Play soccer with local youth and have fun through the game they love.

Create games and activities that encourage teamwork, connection, and fun.

Share your testimony and your story of what Jesus has done in your life.

Share the Gospel and create opportunities for spiritual conversations.

Encourage and invest in young people by showing up, listening, and having fun together.

Serve alongside local leaders at one of CFCI El Salvador’s longest-running ministry programs.
You’ll fly into San Salvador, El Salvador, and stay in a Christ For the City International guesthouse while experiencing ministry alongside local leaders and communities.

Sometimes ministry starts with a soccer ball, a game, and a chance to connect.
At the Altavista Soccer School, you’ll have the opportunity to play, encourage young people, share your story, and point them to Jesus.
