What the Mission Trip Will Be Like
EnGage! Alaska is designed to give you a cross-cultural ministry experience in a native village/community of Alaska.
Your primary role will be to learn from your “community” as you build friendships and participate in village/community life. As you interact with the people you may find opportunities to encourage believers and share about your relationship with God.
Your summer begins with training and orientation in Palmer at InterAct’s Lazy Mountain campus, located just an hour from the Anchorage airport. From there, participants will be assigned to locations in Alaskan villages or urban locations for their ministry experience, and return to the Lazy Mountain campus for debriefing at the conclusion of the summer program.
For over 70 years, InterAct Ministries has been making disciples among the least-reached throughout Alaska, western Canada and Siberia.
