What the Mission Trip Will Be Like
Do you want to teach where the workers are few and the need is immense? Are you flexible? Innovative? Creative? Do you love to invest in the lives of students? In our country, few educational options exist for the children of Global Workers. Living Hope Education exists to enable Global Worker families to remain in a challenging country by providing an excellent educational option for both elementary and secondary levels.
Our elementary school meets four days per week, and grades are combined. Currently, we have a single class for grades 3-6. We are looking for people to come alongside of our long-term elementary teacher to teach special subjects like Music, Art, Drama & Physical Education, for the primary ages. You would be teaching part-time, and also doing some language and cultural learning.
We are looking for people who can commit to a whole school year, or at least 6 months. There is also the potential in a different city of doing special subjects in the homes of students, alongisde of a long-term worker.
Who We Are Looking For:
We are looking for someone who loves God, students, and education. An education degree is not required for this particular need. You would be responsible for planning and carrying out engaging and meaningful lessons, activities, and projects.
