What the Mission Trip Will Be Like
Do you love telling stories that inspire and connect? This is an exciting opportunity to shape the online presence of a new language and vocational skills school in a neighborhood of Phnom Penh. As the Social Media Manager, you’ll craft engaging content that reflects the school’s vision, values, and community impact. You’ll help us build trust, attract students, and share stories of transformation through creative digital strategies. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys creativity, communication, and using media as a tool for mission and education.
In this role you will:
• Develop and manage the school’s social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, etc.)
• Create engaging posts, videos, and stories that highlight school activities and community impact
• Monitor engagement and respond to comments/messages professionally
• Collaborate with the management team to align content with school vision and outreach goals
• Assist in promoting events, courses, and special programs
• Explore creative ways to connect with local and international audiences
Qualifications & Gifts Sought:
- Experience in social media management or digital marketing
- Strong writing and visual storytelling skills
- Basic photo/video editing skills
- English speaker
- A heart for cross-cultural ministry and willingness to learn Khmer
- Creativity, initiative, and ability to work independently
- Familiarity with trends in social media engagement
Cambodia's minority people communities are warm, hospitable, and deeply relational. They are increasingly becoming connected via Facebook, Instagram and Tik Tik. This opportunity will help embed the ministries in the community and beyond.
