What the Mission Trip Will Be Like
As a Handicraft Outreach Assistant, you’ll visit women in their homes, encourage them in their work, pray with them, and build relationships that open doors for discipleship and gospel witness. You’ll be part of a ministry that combines economic empowerment with spiritual transformation.
This role is ideal for someone who is relational, compassionate, and eager to serve in a hands-on, heart-centered ministry.
In this role you will:
- Visit women in their homes as they make jewelry
- Build relationships through encouragement, listening, and presence
- Pray with women and share how God values and loves them
- Support discipleship and spiritual growth where possible
- Assist the handicraft team with logistics, outreach, and ministry events
- Collaborate with local churches and ministry partners
Many women in Siem Reap face economic hardship and social isolation. This ministry offers not only income but also hope, dignity, and spiritual encouragement. Your presence will help reinforce the message that God sees, loves, and values each woman deeply.
Requirements:
- A heart for women’s ministry and relational outreach
- Willingness to learn basic Khmer and engage with local culture
- English Speaker (B1 CEFR English proficiency or higher)
- Flexibility, humility, and a servant-hearted attitude
- Bible or theological training is helpful but not required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
