What the Mission Trip Will Be Like
Our school teaches English to adults, mostly university students. We have classes of about 10 students (sometimes more, sometimes less depending on the season). There are currently 4 full classes running. The curriculum is already established so teachers don't need to write lesson plans. It is also a flexible curriculum so if you need to write a lesson plan as part of the internship, we could include that. There is also always a demand for a children's English club during May and June while schools are on break. We've never hosted one of these, but people always ask us each year!
You will be hosted by a long-term church planting team, and experience what life and cross-cultural work looks like in this region.
Length of Time: 12-18 weeks (4-5 hours of teaching each week). Flexible!

Relation of Opportunity to National Church and/or Long-term Goals
We work together as a team and with others to serve people so that they might know the love of God and form communities of disciples who reach out to those around them. We seek to express the love of Christ in word and deed through a variety of activities.
It is a collaborative approach, committed to working in close cooperation with the national church and with other missions. It is above all a dependent approach, committed to full dependence on God and his exclusive power to change lives and build his Church.
